Terms & Conditions
Power Outlet Access:
During the project duration, access to a functioning power outlet is required for operating saws, compressors, charging batteries, and other necessary equipment. It is the client's responsibility to ensure availability.
Building Permits:
Clients are responsible for obtaining any required building permits for the project. While roof replacements and exterior renovations typically do not necessitate permits, clients should verify with local regulations.
Vehicle Clearance:
Prior to project commencement, clients are requested to clear their garage and driveway of vehicles to facilitate material delivery and project execution. Additionally, having your vehicle accessible ensures you can use it in case of emergency, avoiding any potential delays.
Onsite/Jobsite Communication:
To ensure safety and maintain focus on tasks, clients are prohibited from engaging in
direct communication with any workers on the jobsite. Construction work involves high-
risk activities, and distractions may result in serious injury, mistakes, or even fatalities.
All communication must be directed exclusively to the company’s Operations Manager,
who will introduce himself at the commencement of each project. Clients are asked to
refrain from communicating with any other staff members, including senior personnel,
on-site. In the absence of the Operations Manager, all inquiries or messages should be
directed to our office at 204-801-4666.
Safety Precautions:
For safety reasons, clients are advised to keep children and pets indoors or arrange
suitable relocation during project execution. Additionally, clients are urged to maintain a
safe distance from the work area to prevent potential accidents. Access to the
construction site is strictly limited to authorized personnel of Antonyshyn Roofing Ltd.
The jobsite is designated as a construction zone, and no unauthorized persons may
enter at any time, without exception. This restriction is mandated to ensure safety and
mitigate liability risks. Non-compliance with this policy will result in the forfeiture of any
liability protections extended by Antonyshyn Roofing Ltd.
Property Protection:
Clients are advised to secure or remove any objects both indoors and outdoors that may be susceptible to damage during the construction process.
Liability Disclaimer:
Antonyshyn Roofing is not liable for damages to interior or exterior property resulting from vibration or impact during the construction process. Clients are assured that protective measures are in place to minimize risks.
Additional Costs:
While unforeseen circumstances may occasionally require additional materials, labor, or expenses to meet building codes, warranties, or safety regulations, Antonyshyn Roofing will proceed with necessary materials costing less than $200 without prior client approval. These minor additions will be itemized and explained at the end of the project, and by working with us, clients consent to this type of necessary work. For any additional costs exceeding $200, clients will be informed and written approval will be obtained before proceeding.
Ownership of Materials:
All materials supplied for the project remain the property of Antonyshyn Roofing. Additional materials are sent to account for potential defects and waste factors, ensuring the project’s quality and efficiency. Any surplus materials are retained by Antonyshyn Roofing without negotiation.
Delays and Force Majeure:
Antonyshyn Roofing is not responsible for delays caused by factors beyond our control, including adverse weather conditions or supplier delays.
Deposit and Cancellation Policy:
A deposit is required prior to scheduling, material delivery, and project initiation. In the event of contract cancellation or non-compliance, a percentage will be retained to cover incurred costs.
Payment Terms:
Credit card payments can only be accepted for either the deposit or the remaining balance, not both. A 3% charge applies to any subsequent credit card payments. Invoices are due upon receipt, and late payments will incur a 2% monthly interest charge 24% per annum.
By engaging Antonyshyn Roofing services, clients acknowledge and agree to adhere to the aforementioned terms and conditions for a smooth and successful project execution.
WORKMANSHIP WARRANTY
Duration:
Unless otherwise specified, Antonyshyn Roofing provides a comprehensive workmanship warranty lasting 25 years from the date of the invoice. During this period, we stand behind our craftsmanship and pledge to address any leaks arising from our workmanship promptly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
While Antonyshyn Roofing ensures the highest standard of workmanship, we cannot be held liable for damages to the interior of the building, its contents, or surrounding property. However, we urge our valued customers to promptly report any signs of water intrusion, allowing us to swiftly mitigate potential damages.
Void Conditions:
Our workmanship warranty becomes void if any alterations are made to our work or the structure itself. This includes but is not limited to external modifications, attic adjustments, or the installation of additional fixtures such as satellite dishes or solar panels. It's crucial to note that engaging other contractors for such tasks without our prior consent nullifies our warranty obligations.
Exceptions:
Exceptions may be made in certain circumstances, where written approval is granted for external contractors to perform specific tasks. Nevertheless, for services such as attic insulation, roof repairs, exterior work, or rooftop snow clearing, Antonyshyn Roofing stands ready to provide comprehensive solutions without interruption to your warranty coverage.
Limitations:
Our workmanship warranty specifically covers the installation of our products. The manufacturer's warranty applies to the products themselves, provided they are professionally installed. Please note that full and timely payment of the invoice, including any additional charges, is necessary to maintain warranty eligibility.
Exclusions:
It's important to understand that our workmanship warranty does not extend to damages resulting from factors beyond our control, including extreme weather conditions such as wind, hail, or ice damming, as well as structural shifts or other natural forces.
Maintenance Advice:
Regular rooftop snow clearing is essential for preserving the integrity of your roof system. By ensuring clear ventilation, you can prevent attic condensation and mitigate the risk of ice dam formation, which can cause damage to shingles, insulation, and internal structures. Additionally, regular eavestrough and downspout cleaning is important to prevent water backup and overflow, which can lead to water damage to the roof, siding, and foundation of your home. Furthermore, periodic roof inspections are crucial and should be conducted every 2-3 years, or after any major weather event, to identify and address any potential issues before they escalate, ensuring the longevity and performance of your roof system.
Scope:
Please be aware that our workmanship warranty applies exclusively to full replacement projects. Partial installations or repair jobs are not covered under this warranty.
